Descale the Coffee Maker regularly (depending on the hardness of the water
and the frequency of use). If the cycle time becomes significantly longer,
and/or the noise level changes or increases, this is a sure sign that the ap-
pliance needs descaling. Use a commercially available descaling agent and
follow the manufacturer's instructions.
After descaling, remove the limescale residues by running fresh water
through the system three times and then discard. Thoroughly rinse all parts
that come into contact with the descaler solution.
