OPERATION
1) Unscrew the patented safety cap
(1) and fill the boiler with about
0.9 litres of ordinary tap water
using the special funnel, making
sure that it does not overflow (Fig.
1). Retighten the cap fully and ca-
refully.
2) Set the iron temperature to the
"cotton-linen" steam position (fig.
2), by turning the knob (7).
All types of fabric can be ironed
at this temperature. When dry
ironing, set the knob (7) to the re-
quired temperature for the fabric,
shown on the rotating indicator.
3) Plug in the plug, switch on the iron
on/off switch (3) and the boiler
switch (2), checking that they li-
ght up when pressed down (Fig.
3).
4) Wait for the Generator on/off
switch (2) to go out (about 8 mi-
nutes). Push button (8) on the iron
to release bursts of steam from the
holes on the soleplate. Release the
button and the steam will stop.
Push button (9) for a continuous
jet of steam, which will continue
even after button (9) has been re-
leased. To stop the steam press
