Red Velvet
Cupcakes
Ingredients:

2 cups flour
•
1 tsp baking soda
•
1 tsp baking powder
•
1 tsp salt
•
2 tbs of cocoa powder
•
2 cups sugar
•
1 cup vegetable oil
Steps:
•
In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, cocoa powder,
and salt.
•
In a large bowl combine sugar and vegetable oil.
•
Mix in eggs, buttermilk, vanilla, and red food coloring.
•
Stir in coffee and white vinegar.
•
Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
•
Follow steps to make cupcakes (pg.13) and bake for 7- 10 minutes.
•
Serve and enjoy!

1 oz red food coloring
•
1 tsp white distilled vinegar
•
1/2 cup hot coffee

Cupcakes
Ingredients:
Frosting:

1/4 cup butter softened
•
•
2/3 cup brown sugar
•
•
2 eggs
•
•
1/3 cup milk
•
•
1 cup flour
•
1 tsp baking soda
•
1/4 tsp salt
•
1/2 cup melted caramel
Steps:
•
Mix together your dry ingredients.
•
Mix in your eggs, milk, caramel and butter.
•
Follow the steps to make cupcakes (pg.13) and bake for 7- 10 minutes.
•
In a separate bowl beat together your brown sugar, heavy cream, butter
and confectioners sugar.
•
Spread over cupcakes and enjoy! Bake for 7-10 minutes.
