Always wear safety goggles when working with the induction heater.
Fumes and smoke from hot/burning adhesives are toxic. Wear an officially approved,
dual filter respirator (against dust and fumes). Ensure that the respirator fits properly.
Beards and facial hair may prevent the respirator from sealing properly. Please do not use
disposable paper masks under any circumstances.
Always wear heat-resistant gloves when working with the induction heater.
The induction heater heats metal very quickly.
You could burn your hands and fingers when trying to remove parts from hot metal surfaces.
C. Electrical safety regulations
Do not use the induction heater in the rain or in humid conditions or immerse it in
water. If the device is exposed to water or other liquids, this can cause electrical shock.
Disconnect the induction heater from the power supply before replacing an adaptor.
Treat the power cable carefully. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges and/or
moving parts.
Do not use the induction heater if the cable is damaged.
Damaged cables may cause an electric shock.
Disconnect the induction heater from the power supply when not in operation.
Extension cable:
If an extension cable is necessary, only the following two cable lengths are approved for
use with the induction heater:
4.00 m = approx. 8 m
2
2.50 m = approx. 16 m
2
Only use one single extension cable at a one time.
Do not connect two or more extension cables in series with each other.
Unwind the extension cable - wound up extension cables can overheat and cause fire.
D. Fire protection regulations
Do not attempt to heat aerosol cans, paint cans or any container containing fuels,
gases or liquids under pressure. The heat can cause the container to explode and the
contents to ignite.
Do not use a heater coil if the insulation is damaged. If the insulation is damaged, contact
with a vehicle can cause sparks. This constitutes a fire hazard particularly when working
near gas pipelines/tanks.
