1. Preparation
Remove the coverings if necessary (A-pillars, ceilings, dashboard coverings, mouldings..) at the
vehicle.Tailor the square wire (Art. No. 4915 10) to the required length.Guide it with the support
of the wire piercing awl T-Form (Art. No. 4915 8) from the inside through the adhesive crawler to
the outside. Pull back the cutting wire a bit from the outside.
2. Attach the outside end of the wire in the handle (Art. No.4915 5).
3. Fix the ASK-Windscreen Cutter "EASY" from the inside to the windscreen to be treated.
4. Apply the wire from the bottom up through the bayonet fitting. A milled phase gives a support
during this process. Buckle the wire and fix it through the upper eyelet with an angle of 90°.
5. Cut off the standing over wire end precisely. Adapt the wire to the phase and push the
mandrel into the bayonet fitting. Now press the bayonet fitting against the nipple at the
ASK-Windscreen Cutter "EASY" Mounting is finished.
6. Cutting
Ideally pull the wire handle sharp angled to cut the windscreen.
Our advice for best results:
- Always use FÖRCH square wire with at least 2700 Nm capacity
- Always cut sharp angled, it is simpler and easier
- Displace the ASK-Windscreen Cutter at the inside when the distance or angle are not ideal.
These can be made without any problem due to the suction pad within seconds and it highly
relieves your work.
