LISTENING TO THE RADIO
A special display on the screen allows
you to see when this function is acti-
vated.
Note: not all radio stations offer this
possibility.
Poor reception can sometimes cause
erratic and annoying changes in fre-
quency. In this case you should deacti-
vate the automatic frequency retuning.
To configure this function, refer to the
information on "Radio messages and
services", under the heading "Tracking
an FM radio station (RDS-AF)" in the
"Audio settings" section.
Traffic information (i TRAFFIC)
When this function is activated, your
audio system allows you to automati-
cally search for and listen to traffic in-
formation when it is broadcast from cer-
tain FM radio stations.
To configure this function, refer to the
information on "Radio messages and
services", under the heading "Traffic
information (i TRAFFIC)" in the "Audio
settings" section.

Once the function is activated, select
the news station then choose if you re-
quire another playback source.
Traffic information is broadcast auto-
matically as a priority, irrespective of
the source in use (CD, Aux).
Programme type search (i PTY)
When this function is activated, your
audio system allows you to automati-
cally listen to specific types of pro-
grammes (news, sport, etc.) when they
are broadcast by certain FM radio sta-
tions (depending on the country).
Select the type of programme desired
from the following possibilities:
– News,
– Pop M.,
– Sport,
– Classic,
– Misc.

If you then select the CD source, the
type of programme selected will over-
ride the CD when broadcast.
To configure this function, refer to
the information on "Radio messages
and services", under the heading
"Programme search by type (i PTY)" in
the "Audio settings" section.
Displaying the frequency of a radio
station
Press 4 to display the frequency of a
radio station named on the display. The
frequency disappears after 3 seconds.
Textual information (Radio-Text)
Some FM radio stations broadcast text
information relating to the programme
being aired (the title of a track, for ex-
ample).
Note: this information is only available
for some radio stations.
To see it, press 4 until the broadcast in-
formation is displayed.
