20. There is a rivet on the end of each splice. Add
another rivet to the other side and secure using
a 3/16" rivet. Repeat for a total of six times.

21. Set the assembled rail along the back against the
rear posts. Attach U-Bolts to the rear post with the
flange nuts. Begin with the top row on an end. The
U-Bolt goes around the top pipe of the guard rail
and through the holes of the rear post. Loosely
attach with a 1/2" wrench. Make sure the ends of the
guard rails are flush with the ends of the bleachers
and straight vertical. Attach the bottom. Tighten.

NOTE: Be careful not to tighten too tightly,
as this could crush the pipe.

22. Attach the angled rails. The bottoms of the angled
rails have three small air holes. Attach to the side
posts using the U-Bolts and flange nuts. Need about
1" spacing between the angled rails and back rails.
Tighten. (See Figure 36)

23. Attach end rails to angled rails with panel clamps.
Two per corner, one on top and one on the bottom.
Use 3/8" bolts and nuts. Ensure the bolts are going
toward the back of the bleacher.
