SET UP & USE continued:
To Use the Video Monitor in Portable Mode continued:
• When battery is low, the Power On LED will illuminate amber, indicating that the battery needs to be recharged.
• If battery is exhausted, remove immediately from the Monitor.
• Properly dispose of exhausted battery.
Battery Installation:
Note: This step is only needed if replacing battery.
1. Locate the battery compartment door on back of monitor.
2. Remove battery door screw with flat head screwdriver.
3. Remove battery door and battery.
4. Insert new battery and replace battery door.
Footrest:
The Monitor has a built-in footrest for tabletop convenience. Flip out footrest and place the Monitor
on a stable, level surface.
Pairing MONITOR and CAMERA:
The Monitor and Camera are paired at the factory for privacy reasons. If the Monitor and Camera are not pairing with each other for
any reason, please do so as described below.
Step 1: Move the Monitor to the same area as the Camera.With both the Camera and Monitor on, press the "POWER" button once
and using Camera/Menu control panel scroll to the Right to highlight the camera menu icon.
Step 2: Press the up arrow to highlight "ADD CAM" (
). Press the OK/ZOOM button to enter "ADD CAM" menu.
Step 3: Use the up arrow to highlight the next available channel (
), press OK/ZOOM to begin pairing.The (
) icon will
start flashing.
Step 4: Within 20 seconds, press the "CODE" button once at the back of the camera.The image from the new camera should appear
on the screen within 1 second. If this is unsuccessful, you should repeat steps above making sure the Camera and Monitor are close
enough to each other for pairing.
ADDING ADDITIONAL CAMERAS
To add an additional camera, follow the steps above for "Pairing Monitor and Camera".To select the camera to view, press the Menu
button, then highlight the "camera" option (
), then choose the "select camera" option (
), and choose from the list of cameras.
Alternatively, choose the "scan" option (
) to view each camera in turn.

TIPS FOR IMPROVING RECEPTION:
• Position the Monitor closer to the CAMERA if necessary.
• Move Monitor away from other monitors, cordless phones, walkie-talkies, etc.; moving even slightly could greatly improve reception.
• If you hear a feedback or squealing noise, move the CAMERA and the Monitor further away from each other.
Note: Do not move the CAMERA head by hand as it may damage internal motor parts.
