INSTALLATION
- Remove any possible dirt due to the construction of the system (hemp, shavings) before proceeding with the installation of the
thermostatic regulator.
- It is recommended to install a Y or self-cleaning filter at the inlet to the cold water network.
- Install the thermostatic regulator in an unrestricted position, in order to easily access and run periodic inspections.
- The thermostatic regulator can be installed in any position. Avoid the upside down position in the 4734 version equipped with
electrothermic actuator.
- Follow the flow direction indicated by the arrow printed on the reducer body.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT: To adjust the mixed water temperature, simply turn the knob with graduated scale (the setting temperature is
printed directly on the adjustment handwheel). The thermometer on the device output provides important feedback on the set temperature.
It is recommended to adjust the temperature within the range of 55 ÷ 60 °C considering that in the section of the circuit downstream of the
device the water temperature will further decrease due to thermal dispersions.
LOCKING THE KNOB: Once the adjustment operations have been completed, the knob may be locked at the set value. Just unscrew the screw
that holds the knob in place, remove it and reposition it so that the internal reference fits into the notch on the ring nut.
Warning: when using the locking function of the knob, the reference of the temperature indication is lost; to reset that, it is necessary to turn
the knob anticlockwise until it stops and reposition it on the MAX value.
