Open the battery compartment by moving the cover in the OPEN direction. Insert
two 1.5V batteries (AAA / UM-4/LR03) for the clock, and three 1.5V batteries (UM
3/AA/LRG) for the radio. Ensure the correct polarity of the batteries. Then close the
battery compartment again by placing the cover in position and pushing in the
direction of CLOSE.
The clock radio can be placed in a standing position if the two side supports on the
back of the machine are folded out. If you would prefer to hang the clock radio on
the wall, an indentation is provided for this on the back.
Turn the function switch on the left side of the machine to the ON position.
Select a station by turning the station button (2). The station scale shows the fre-
quency which has been set.
The desired volume can be set with the volume control (1) on the right-hand side of
the clock radio. If you would like to switch off the radio, move the
RADIO/ON/OFF/ALARM/AUTO button (8) to the OFF position.
1. Hours: Keep the TIME button (10) on the back of the machine pressed down
until the hour display begins to flash.
2. Then press the +/- buttons (11/12) on the back of the clock radio until the
desired hour has been reached. Then press the TIME button (10) again.
The minutes display begins to flash. Repeat the procedure described above.
3. When the TIME button (10) is pressed again, the year begins to flash.
Repeat the procedure described in 2 above to set the year.
