TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem
The tool cannot
be turned on.
All dashes display
during continuous
measurement
of the Laser
Measuring Mode.

Cause
1. Batteries are
depleted.
2. Batteries are
installed in wrong
polarity.
1. The laser beam
is moved too fast.
2. The object is out
of range.
3. The target
surface reflects
too intensely
(e.g. a mirror) or
insufficiently (e.g.
black fabric), or
the ambient light
is too bright.
Remedy
1. Replace with new
batteries.
2. Reinstall the
batteries.
1. Do not make
sudden movements
while measuring.
2. Take
measurements
within the range
(from 0.65 to 65
feet).
3. Work with a laser
target plate (not
included).
