Application
Can be used in conjunction with: Pressurised storage
heaters, thermally and hydraulically controlled
instantaneous heaters. Operation with low-pressure
displacement water heaters is not possible.
Specifications
• Flow pressure
• Operating pressure
• Test pressure
If static pressure is greater than 5 bar, fit pressure
reducer.
Avoid major pressure differences between hot and
cold water supply.
• Flow rate at 3 bar flow pressure
• Temperature
Hot water inlet:
Recommended:
• Water connection
• Max. clamping length
Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly!
Prepare sink mixer
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
Fit swivel spout
Swivel range can be adjusted by means of stop (A),
see fold-out page III, Fig. [1].
Install sink mixer, see Fig. [2].
Note: If the support plate (B) is omitted, the clamping
length can be increased by 15mm.
The following lever positions can also be obtained,
see Fig. [3].
Connect sink mixer, see Figs. [2] and [4].
- Hot-water connection (marked red)
- Cold-water connection (marked blue)
Open cold and hot-water supply and check
connections for leakage!
min. 0.5 bar
recommended 1 - 5 bar
max. 10 bar
16 bar
approx. 11.5 l/min
(maximum) 80 °C
(energy saving) 60 °C
cold - right
hot - left
max. 60mm
= left
= right
Operation (Lever head position right)
Slide lever to right
Slide lever to left
Slide lever towards front
Slide lever towards back
Flow rate limiter
This mixer is fitted with a flow rate limiter, permitting an
infinitely individual variable reduction in the flow rate.
The highest possible flow rate is set by the factory
before despatch.
The use of flow rate limiters in combination with
hydraulic instantaneous water heaters is not
recommended.
For commissioning see "replacing the cartridge"
point 1 to 3, Figs. [5] and [6].
Maintenance
Inspect and clean all parts, replace as necessary and
grease with Grohe special grease (order no. 18 012).
Shut off cold and hot water supply!
I. Replacing the cartridge, see Fig. [5].
1. Lever out plug (C).
2. Remove screw (D) and pull off lever (E).
3. Unscrew cap (G).
4. Remove screws (H) and detach complete
cartridge (J).
5. Replace complete cartridge (J).
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe the correct installation position!
Make sure that the cartridge seals engage in the
grooves on the housing. Fit screws (H) and tighten
evenly and alternately.
II. Unscrew and clean aerator (13 928), see fold-out
page II.
Assemble in reverse order.
Replacement parts, see fold-out page II
