► Pull out the activation key.
► Remove the battery.
► Keep the lawn scarifier out of reach of chil‐

■ Moisture may cause corrosion to the electric
contacts on the lawn scarifier and metal com‐
ponents.This may result in damage to the lawn
scarifier.

■ Children cannot recognise or evaluate the
dangers posed by batteries.There is a risk of

► Keep the battery out of reach of children.
■ The battery is not protected against all ambi‐
ent conditions.If exposed to certain ambient
conditions, the battery may be damaged.
► Keep the battery clean and dry.
► Store the battery in a locked room.
► Store the battery separately from the lawn
scarifier and charger.
► Store the battery in electrically non-conduc‐
tive packaging.
► Use and store the battery at temperatures
between - 10 °C and + 50 °C.

■ If the activation key and battery are inserted
during cleaning, maintenance or repair, the
lawn scarifier may unintentionally be switched
on. This may result in serious injury to people
and damage to property.
► Wait until the roller is no longer turning.
► Pull out the activation key.

■ Abrasive cleaning agents, using a water jet for
cleaning or sharp objects may result in dam‐
age to the lawn scarifier, rollers and battery. If
the lawn scarifier, rollers and battery are not
cleaned correctly, components may no longer
operate correctly and safety devices may be
disabled. This may result in serious injury to
people.
► Clean the lawn scarifier, rollers and battery
as described in this instruction manual.
■ If the lawn scarifier, rollers or battery are not
maintained or repaired correctly, components
may no longer operate correctly and safety
