Load a Mini Disc.
... Insert a Mini Disc into the slot securely.
... "READING" blinks while the unit checks
the contents of the disc.
... If a title has been assigned to the disc, the
title will be displayed.
... If the "PROGRAM" indicator is lit, press
the CHARACTER/P.MODE button of the
remote control unit to turn it off.

Press the PLAY button(Á ) to start
playback.
Playback starts from the first track.
A
To stop playback:
Press the STOP button ( ª ) to stop playback.
B
To unload the disc:
Press the EJECT button ( ø ) ; playback stops
and the disc will slide out. All functions are
reset to their initial settings.
C
To temporarily suspend playback (pause
mode):
Press the PAUSE button ( π ) . Playback stops
at the current position and π indicator lights
steadily. To resume playback from the same
position, press the PAUSE ( π ) button again.
D
To skip to the next or a later track:
Turn the track knob to the ¯ or press the
¯ button of the remote control unit
several times until the desired track is found.
The selected track will be played from the
beginning.
... When the JOG DIAL is clicked to the Â
(or the  button is pressed) once
during playback, the track being played
will be played from the beginning.
... To return to the beginning of the previous
track, turn the track knob twice or press
the Âbutton twice.

Search for a part of a track
During play, hold down the Ô or
button and release it when the part you want
to hear is found.

Appuyez sur le bouton POWER pour
mettre l'appareil sous tension.
Quand le message "STANDBY" apparaît,
appuyez sur le bouton ON/STANDBY de la
télécommande.

Chargement d'un mini-disque.
... Insérez le MD à fond dans la fente.
... Le message "READING" clignote pendant
la vérification du contenu du disque.
... Si le disque porte un titre, celui-ci apparaît
sur l'afficheur.
... Si l'indicateur "PROGRAM" est allumé,
appuyez
sur
le
CHARACTER/P.MODE de la télécommande
pour l'éteindre.

Appuyez sur le bouton(Á ) pour
commencer la lecture.
La première piste est lue.
A
To stop playback:Pour arrêter la lecture :
Appuyez sur le bouton Stop(ª).

Pour retirer le disque :
Appuyez sur le bouton EJECT (ø). La lecture
cesse et le disque sort de la fente. Toutes
les fonctions sont remises à l'état initial.

Pour suspendre la lecture (PAUSE) :
Appuyez sur le bouton Pause (π). La lecture
cesse et le voyant π s'allume. Pour repartir
du même point, rappuyez sur le bouton
Pause (π).
D
Pour sauter à la piste suivante (ou à une
autre) :
Tournez le bouton JOG DIAL à la position
(¯) (ou appuyez sur le bouton ¯ de la
télécommande) autant de fois que
nécessaire pour atteindre la piste désirée.
La piste choisie sera lue à partir du début.
... Si vous tournez brièvement le bouton JOG
DIAL une fois à la position (Â) (ou si
vous appuyez sur le bouton  de la
télécommande), la piste en cours de
lecture est reprise au début.
... Pour revenir au début de la piste
précédente, tournez le bouton JOG DIAL
deux fois (ou appuyez deux fois sur le
bouton Â).
E
Recherche rapide d'un passage d'une
piste.
Pendant la lecture, maintenez le bouton Ô
ou enfoncé jusqu'à ce que vous
entendiez le passage désiré.
