05. Install the LP1 or LP2 detector as close to the loop as possible; if possible, less than
10 m away. The cables connecting the loop must be kept separate from the power
cables and the output cables.
06. The loop may be made of ordinary insulated copper wire, preferably measuring 1.5

07. The two wires at the start and end of the loop must be wound around themselves at
least 20 times per meter (fig. 4).

3.3 – Detecting direction of travel (LP2 only)
Detector LP2 may be connected with 2 separate loops, which may activate 2 completely
independent outputs, or, with appropriate programming, be used to determine direction
of travel.

If loop 1 is engaged first, when loop 2 is also engaged output 1 is triggered, remaining
active until loop 1 is no longer engaged. Loop 2 will never be triggered.
