Maintenace
The panic device must be checked monthly to ensure it
is properly fixed and to ensure easy movement. If
necessary, the screws must be retightened and the
moving parts must be oiled. Ensure the bolt heads are
not blocked.
Care tips
HEWI products are easy care. In general occasional
wiping with a damp cloth suffices. However, if you want
to use a cleaning agent you should note the following:
Use cleaning agents with a ph-value between 6 and 8
only. Cleaning agents containing detergent substances
such as phosphates, soaps and tensides (surfactants)
can be used. You may not use: Alkali or acidic cleaning
agents or cleaning agents containing chlorine or scou-
ring agent additives. Also avoid using abrasive instru-
ments, e.g. brushes.
All cleaning agents must be used in accordance with
the manufacturer's instructions for use (concentration,
exposure time).
Otherwise the surfaces of the HEWI products can be
attacked and damaged. No warranty whatsoever is
provided for damage caused by improper handling.

Select fixing points according to lock type and fitting.
Optimum -> choose the largest centre-to-centre mea-
surement. Leaf doors -> 46 / 21.5.
Framed doors, freely selectable depending on lock
type.
