As the equipment owner, you are responsible for the performance of the required maintenance listed in the
Maintenance section. It is recommended that you retain all receipts covering maintenance on your equipment.
Neglecting or failing to perform the required maintenance may increase emissions, decrease fuel efficiency, de-
grade performance, cause irreversible engine damage and/or void your warranty.

No fuel in tank
Water pressure in hose
Spark plug shorted or fouled
Spark plug is broken (cracked porcelain or
electrodes broken)
Ignition lead wire shorted, broken, or
disconnected from spark plug
Ignition inoperative
Choke in wrong position
Engine is flooded
Water in gasoline
Weak spark at spark plug
Dirty air filter
Soap injection hose is not properly
submerged
Low pressure nozzle installed
Inadequate water supply
Trigger handle or spray wand leaks
Nozzle is clogged
Air in line
Hose is leaking
Kink in hose
Pump is faulty
Diameter of garden hose is too small
Water supply is restricted
Not enough inlet water
Wrong nozzle is attached

Fill tank
Squeeze trigger to relieve water pressure
Replace spark plug
Replace spark plug
Replace lead wire or attach to spark plug
Contact an authorized service center
Move choke to START position to start a
cold engine. If engine is warm, choke should
be in RUN position.
Move choke to RUN position and pull the
starter grip and rope repeatedly until the
engine starts.
Drain entire system and refill with fresh fuel
Contact an authorized service center
Clean or replace air filter
Use blue or black soap nozzle to apply
detergent
Insert soap injection hose into soap container.
Replace with high pressure nozzle
Provide adequate water flow
Check connections and/or replace trigger
handle or spray wand
Clean nozzle
Squeeze trigger on trigger handle to remove
air from line
Replace hose
Eliminate kinks in hose
Contact an authorized service center
Replace with 3/4 in. garden hose
Check garden hose for kinks, leaks, and
blockages
Open water source full force
Attach the high pressure nozzle
