Initial start-up
Attaching sanding sheet
Clean the sanding plate before at-
taching a sanding sheet.
Remove the mains plug first.
Use only appropriate sanding sheet
sizes. Sanding sheets that protrude
laterally beyond the sanding plate
can cause injuries and can cause
the sanding sheets to block or tear.
The sanding plate (7) is fitted with Velcro for
rapid attachment of the sanding sheet (9).
Sanding sheet with Velcro:
1. Ensure that the sanding sheet (9) lies flush.
2. Press the sanding sheet (9) evenly onto
the sanding plate (7).
Ensure that the holes are placed direct-
ly above the extraction openings of the
sanding plate (7).
Sanding sheet without Velcro:
1. Release the two clamping levers (6).
2. Slide the sanding sheet under one of
the clamps (5).
3. Clamp the sanding sheet by locking the
clamping lever (6).
The sanding sheet must lie evenly and
tightly on the sanding plate (7).
4. Clamp the other end of the sanding
sheet in the same way.
