WHAT TO DO IN AN EMERGENCY ?
Troubleshooting
VERSION
Engine does not start
The engine misfires
The engine overheats and loses
power
Insufficient front braking

ISSUE
-Fuel system is clogged (fuel
line, pump or filter)
- Air filter excessively Dirty
- The current does not arrive at
the spark plug
- Engine flooded
- Spark plug electrodes not
properly gapped
- Dirty spark plug
- Exhaust partially closed
- Exhaust port obstructed
- Mixture too lean
- Ignition timing retarded
- Worn brake pads
- Presence of air or moisture in
the hydraulic system
- Worn brake pads
- Presence of air or moisture in

- Worn brake pads
SOLUTION
Clean the system
Clean as shown on (p.90).
Clean or replace the spark plug.
If the problem persists, contact a
Sherco approved dealer.
Open the throttle handle and try
starting by aggressively using the
kickstarter. Remove and dry the
spark plug.
Properly gap the spark plug
Clean or replace the spark plug
