Installation
basic steps be done to verify proper operation.
1. With all the cables attached, ensure that the Integrated Continuous
Battery Charger system Status Indicator on Control Room Unit Display
indicates that the Continuous Battery Charger is operational.
2. With the battery pack plugged into the SRU, the battery is displayed as
"Fully Charged" on the CRU screen.
3. Replacement assemblies have been tested for electrical leakage before
being shipped. Bayer recommends that an electrical leakage test be
preformed again if the power supply assembly was replaced.
WARNING: Contains Ferromagnetic material. Failure to properly
install the Integrated Continuous Battery Charger system Power
Supply may result in equipment damage or injury. Attach the
power supply to the floor or wall using the provided adhesive
strips at least 6 ft. (1.8 m) from the scanner face.
The following is a list of materials and tools needed for Procedure Room
installation:

50 ft. (15.2 m) cable
1. Position the power supply to the floor near an AC power plug so that the
power cord can reach the plug. Mount the power supply near a wall away
from high traffic areas and a minimum of six feet (1.8 meters) from the
magnet bore.
2. Remove protective tape from the Dual lock on bottom of power supply
and stick to a clean surface.
3. Route 50 ft (15.2 m) cable from the power supply to the Scan Room Unit.
4. Connect cable into Scan Room Unit.
5. Connect the other end of cable to the power supply.
6. Plug in power supply.
