Digital Current Tester for Fuse Contact
SPECIFICATIONS
Voltage range: 12 - 24V
Maximum current: 20 A
GENERAL
The tester is designed for current measurements directly at the fuse box for cars and trucks and used
in the diagnosis of appliance. To measure removed the original fuse and connect the plug from the
tester. The protection of the circuit is still provided by a fuse in the tester.
CAUTION
NOTE: For better illumination of the electric box the tester has an LED. To switch on the LED lights
press the button next to the display.
DECLARATION
OPERATION
For test on appliance
1. Switch off the ignition
2. Switch off interior light
3. Switch on the tester
4. Remove and replace all fuses in succession by the tester. Note: Replace the fuse in the tester
with the fuse in the circuit to be tested.
5. If the quiescent current higher than in the manufacturer manual, the appliance is in this circuit.
6. Locate other consumers with the help of a circuit diagram and disconnect the consumers
sequentially.
The tester can also be used to check the power consumption of individual circuits.
1. Turn off the ignition
2. Replace the fuse of the circuit with the plug of the tester
3. Read current appliance on the display
NOTE: In some measurements it is necessary to switch on the ignition
If no value on display reading, check the fuse in the tester.
