Once finished using unit, unplug it and wait for complete
cooling of each part before cleaning.
Place the unit on a stable and heat- resistant shelf.
When the unit is working, leave enough space on both
side of the appliance.
Do not use as a shelf support for objects. Do not use as a
heating unit.
Do not use coal or other solid and/or liquid fuels.
Cleaning operations cannot be done by children unless
they are over 8 years old and supervised

ASSEMBLING
- Place the plastic frame (6) on a flat, stable and heat resistant surface.
- Place the tray (4) in its seat on the frame (6). Add water in the tray (min 150cc, max 300 cc).
- Insert the cooking plate (1) inside the frame (6).
WARNING: place the plate correctly, or the product will not work.
The metal pin placed on the side of plastic frame must enter in the hole
under cooking plate the connector.
The appliance is correctly mounted and ready for use.
OPERATING
This contact grill is suitable for cooking and heating many kinds of food: meat and grilled vegetables, rolls
and sandwiches, fish and all the dishes that require the grill cooking.
- Connect the power supply unit (5) to cooking plate, putting the supply unit in its housing and plug the
appliance into electrical outlet.
- Set desired temperature using the temperature control knob (2). The knob can be set to:
o OFF: the appliance is switched off
o 1-2: Low heat –for keeping food warm.
o 2-3: Medium heat-cooking foods thoroughly
o 3-4: High heat-for quick cooking and sealing in juices.
o 5: Super heat –for browning foods quickly
- When the light on supply unit (5) switches off, the cooking grill reaches the required temperature.
- At this point the contact grill is ready for cooking. Place the food on the cooking plate.
- During cooking it is advisable to periodically check the condition of the food to prevent burning. It will be
necessary to turn the food to obtain a uniform cooking. To avoid any damage to the non-stick coating,
always use wooden utensils.
- Once finished cooking, remove food with wooden utensils. Do not use metal utensils.
- Unplug the unit and wait for the complete cooling down of each part before cleaning.
After cleaning, which must be carried out by following the instructions in the next paragraph, store the unit
away from heat sources and out of the reach of children.
