 Connect a USB port with a shielded cable (electromagnetic compatibility) to the USB
terminal on the back of the device.
The A-type USB port, which has master functionality, is located on the front and is used
for the connection of a USB memory stick (for instance, for firmware updates, parameter
storage (read/write), data logger).

The Ethernet port supports direct communication with the TPG 366 via a computer.
● Green LED: Link or transmit LED.
– Indicates that a hardware-based connection exists.
● Yellow LED: Status or packet-detect LED.
– Indicates the status of the transmission. Whenever this LED flashes or flickers, this
indicates that data is being transmitted.

 Connect the Ethernet cable to the port on the back of the device.
The RS-485 interface enables operation of the TPG 366 through a computer or a termi-
nal. The use of an Y-distribution adapter provides for integration into a bus system.
