Functions
The ET sensor has the following functions:
| Measurement of module temperature
| Measurement of the current solar irradiation
The output of a module is temperature-dependent. With each
additional degree Celsius, the output decreases by
approximately 0.3 to 0.4 % (depending on the make of the
module). The ET sensor measures the temperature of the
module. As a result, the temperature-related output variation
is taken into account in calculating the setpoint value for
energy generation in the system. It also measures the current
solar irradiation in the module level. The ET sensor transmits
these measurement results via a shielded 4-pin connector
cable to the Conergy SmartControl, which analyses the data.
