Functions
Conergy uses CAN technology for communication between
the Conergy SmartControl and other components of the PV
system (see Chapter 3, page 13). The Conergy IPG series
central inverters offered at present still do not have a CAN
interface, and so you will need a CAN converter for each
inverter. The function of this is to convert the data from the
RS485 interface of the inverter into CAN signals.
