Preparation

Before installing the Conergy SmartControl System hardware
components, clarify the following points with respect to the
local installation requirements:
| Installation location of the ET sensor
| The connection between the ET sensor and the Conergy
SmartControl
| Integration into a suitable surge protection device
| Installation location of the Conergy SmartControl and
power supply unit
| Internet connection at the installation location
Note the network connection requirements as laid out in
(see Chapter 8.1, page 75).

Basic safety instructions

DANGER
High voltages!
| Before fitting the hardware components of the Conergy
SmartControl System, de-energise the PV system by
activating the disconnector.
| Verify that the device is safely isolated.
| Ensure that the system cannot be switched back on again.
DANGER
Risk of electrical accident!
In any work involving live system components and leads
there is a risk of electrical accidents.
A second person is required to be present at all times, who
can disconnect the power supply and offer help in the case of
an unforeseen accident.
