CAUTION
Possible moisture damage to property.
Moisture in the housing may cause damage to the ET sensor.
| Do not connect the ET sensor when it is raining.
Attaching the connecting cable
1. On the housing(2), unscrew the screw plug (9), the flat
washer (8) and the sealing ring (7).
2. Lead the insulated connecting cable (10) through the
Screw plug (9),

in the specified sequence.
3. Remove the sheathing from the connecting cable by no
more than 2.5 cm.
4. Strip the individual wire strands at a length of approx.
7 mm.
5. Insulate the shield of the connecting cable.
6. Put cable end sleeves (6) on the ends of the wire strands.
7. Unscrew the cable screws in the female insert (3) in
sequence.
CAUTION
Incorrect wire strand assignment can cause damage to
property.
Incorrect assignment of wire strands and failure to insulate
the shield can lead to incorrect (negative) irradiation or
temperature values, and may damage the ET sensor.
The GND_Sens connection is a signal output, and not a
connection for the earthing.
| Check the correct assignment of the wire strands to the
female connectors according to the connection diagram.
8. Connect the ends of the wire strands to the female
connectors of the female insert (3) according to the
following connection diagram.
