Connecting the CAN cable

Conergy uses CAN technology for communication between
the Conergy SmartControl monitoring unit and other
components of the PV system (see Chapter 3, page 13).

Connecting the CAN cable
1. Trim and strip the cable.
2. Put a cable end sleeve on the cable ends.
3. Unscrew the clamping screw of the 5-pin plug supplied.
4. Clamp the wires in place.
5. Connect the 5-pin plug of the CAN cable to the top-hat rail
bus connector (1).
