6. Screw the base plate and hood for the D-SUB terminal
adapter in place. Take care to ensure the correct
orientation of the D-SUB terminal adapter.
7. Tighten the cable screws.
Each Conergy IPG series central inverter has two RS485
interfaces which are in the form of D-SUB female connectors.
To one interface connect the CAN converter connection
cable. At the second interface fit a bus termination in the
Ω
form of a 120
resistor
Before starting any work on electrical installations observe
note the following safety rules:
| Disconnect
Disconnect the voltage from the device.
| Secure against being switched back on
| Verify that the system has zero voltage.
Make sure power is disconnected from all poles, i.e. check
all phases against zero/earth.
| Earth and short-circuit
The background to earthing and short-circuiting is that
disconnected sections of wiring which do not run in
parallel can recharge.
| Cover adjacent live parts.
