6 Assembly and installation
DANGER
A second person must be present during all work on live
system parts and leads. In the event of an unforeseen
electrical accident, that person must be able to switch off the
power supply and provide aid.
WARNING
Danger from electrical installations!
When commissioning, despite careful installation and
compliance with the general safety instructions, there may
still be risks from electrical installations. These include:
| Direct contact with live system parts
| Electrostatic processes
| Short circuits and overloading
Connection of the CAN converter to the inverter
1. Connect the screw terminal to the CAN converter
CAUTION
Damage due to wrong connection!
The D-SUB interface can be damaged if connected to other
external devices or to the PC interface. The electrical
configuration, signal levels and data protocol are device-
specific and are not compatible with products made by other
manufacturers!
The inverter interface works at a signal voltage of up to 5 V.
The PC interface works at ±12 V.
