PRECAUTIONS
●
The air conditioner will not function if there are curtains, doors or other obstacles blocking the
signal which is sent by the remote control to the interior unit.
●
Avoid any liquids of any type falling on the remote control. Do not expose the remote control
to direct sunlight or heat sources.
●
If the infrared receiver in the interior unit is exposed to direct sunlight, the operation of the air
conditioner may be affected.
Fit curtains to avoid direct sunlight affecting the receiver.
●
If other electrical devices affect the remote control, move these devices or consult your local
distributor.
NOTES
●
When you change the batteries, do not use old batteries or a different type of battery.
Otherwise, the remote control may stop functioning correctly.
●
If you are not going to use the remote control for several weeks or more, remove the batteries.
Otherwise, the liquid they give off could damage the remote control.
●
The average life of a battery in normal use is approximately six months.
●
You should change the batteries when you cannot hear the beep from the receiver in the inte-
rior unit or the remote control transmission indicator does not light up.

USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

Location of the remote control
●
Put the remote control in a place from where its
signals can reach the receiver in the interior unit (at
a max. distance of 8 m).
●
PWhen you select timer mode, the remote control
will automatically transmit a signal to the interior
unit at the appropriate time.
If you place the remote control in a position which
makes correct transmission of the signal difficult,
there may be a time gap of up to 15 minutes.

Replacing the batteries

The remote control uses two dry alkaline batteries
(RO3/LR03x2).
(1) Remove the battery compartment cover and
replace the batteries with new ones.
(2) Once you have changed them (1), press the
RESET button.
(3) Before replacing the battery compartment cover,
check that the clock panel on the remote control
displays "0:00" and that the two dots are flashing.

After changing the batteries, set the remote control
clock again.
