Resistance Measurement

Never connect a source of voltage with the Range Selector Switch in the
Ω (ohms) position. Personal injury or damage to the tester may result.
Failure to observe this warning can result in severe injury or death.
1. Turn off device to be tested. Discharge any capacitors. Voltage should not
present.
2. Slide switch to the Ω
3. Connect the black test lead to the COM terminal and to red test lead to the
V - Ω terminal.
4. Connect test leads across the resistance being measured. The resistance value
will appear on the display.
Note: Resistance reading should always be taken in parallel with the circuit.
The built-in buzzer sounds if the resistance of the tested circuit is less than 100 Ω.
