Maintenance
General
• Keep unit clean and dry.
• Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Let dry completely before using.

Battery Condition

• Battery level is low when "BAT" appears on display.

Battery Replacement

Turn meter OFF and remove it from the item being tested before replacing
battery. Do not use the meter until the back is in place and fastened securely.
Failure to observe this warning may result in severe injury or death.
1. Disconnect meter from item being tested. Turn
the meter OFF.
2. Position the meter face down on a clean, flat
surface. Slide the battery cover to remove.
3. Lift the battery out of the battery compartment.
Carefully unsnap the battery from the
connector.
4. Install a new 9V battery by snapping connector
to battery top. Replace battery in battery
compartment. Check leads so that they will not
be pinched when the battery cover is replaced.
5. Replace the battery cover.
