CO
accessories, as detailed in the
2
description, from 8 to 6.
Decide which type of barrel you are going
to use and then install it.
PRESSURISED KEG
The pressurised beer keg compatible with
the FAGOR dispenser and with nozzle type
as shown in fig. D already contains CO
and it is therefore not necessary to acquire
the optional CO
accessories. This type
2
of keg does not require installation of the
tap or the nozzle provided with the keg for
installing on the beer dispenser. Proceed as
follows to install the pressurised keg:
1. Press the open door button (.) and
insert the outlet tubing (.4) into the
pressurised barrel adaptor (4) until it is
fully locked in, as shown in figure D.
2. Install the pressurised barrel adaptor (4)
into the nozzle of the barrel as shown in
figure E.
3. Insert the barrel into the dispenser by
turning the barrel so that the tubing is
not bent and the flow of the beer is not
obstructed (fig. F). Close the door of the
dispenser.
TYPE B PRESSURISED KEG
This type of keg has a combined or
aeration cap (fig. H). Before installing a type
B pressurised keg you should release the
excess pressure from the keg. To do this,
turn the cap a /4 of a turn to release the
pressure from the keg, then remove the
cap using a pair of pliers and replace it with
one of the keg seals (0). Make sure you
do not bend the metal around the cap, as
this could cause an air leak. Do not worry if
the cap or part of the cap falls into the keg:
this often happens and it will not affect the
taste of the beer.
When the excess gas has been released
from the keg, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the standard barrel adaptor (8)
into the barrel (fig. I) and lock it in place
by moving the adaptor's locking button
(8.) to one side. The clips will move
and be secured to the barrel, and the
adaptor will then be fitted properly to
the barrel.
2. Insert the outlet tubing (.4) into the

adaptor socket (8.2) and the inlet tubing
(.3) into the adaptor pin (8.3) (fig. J).
3. Insert the barrel into the dispenser by
turning the barrel so that the tubing is
not bent and the flow of the beer is not
obstructed.
4. Once you have purchased the optional
Fagor CO
accessories, as detailed in
2
the description (from 8 to 6), install the
CO
unit as instructed in the following
2
section.
PRESSURELESS CASK
This type of keg has a rubber cap (fig. G).
Proceed as follows:
1. Insert the pressureless cask adapter
(8) in the keg (fig. I), pulling the centre
of the cap inside the keg. Block it by
moving the adapter block button (8.)
to one side. The clips will move and fix
the keg in place. The adapter is now
correctly installed on the keg.
2. Insert the outlet tubing (.4) into the
adaptor socket (8.2) and the inlet tubing
(.3) into the adaptor pin (8.3) (fig. J).
3. Insert the barrel into the dispenser by
turning the barrel so that the tubing is
not bent and the flow of the beer is not
obstructed.
4. Once you have purchased the optional
Fagor CO
accessories, as detailed in
2
the description (from 8 to 6), install the
CO
unit as instructed in the following
2
section.
5. CONNECTING THE CO
Once you have purchased the optional
Fagor CO
accessories:
2
1. Turn the CO
regulating valve knob
2
(2.) anti-clockwise as far as it will go
(fig. K). Only then can you be certain
that the valve is closed.
2. Screw the narrow part of the valve
adaptor (3) into the bottom of the CO
regulating valve (2) as shown in figure L.
3. Move the side compartment cover
(.5) of the dispenser downwards and
