2 - SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Do not use different batteries (2) from those supplied by CAMPAGNOLA S.r.l. They may cause serious damages to the tool
and injuries to the user.
• When the shear is not used, switch the switch (8) (in position 0) off to avoid useless battery consumption (2).

2.3 Maintenance

WARNING!
Before performing any maintenance operations or adjustments on the mechanical parts of the equipment, put on heavy-
duty work shoes, gloves and goggles.
• Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual
qualifications.
• Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
• Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
• Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is to
be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should be activated
as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
• Before any maintenance operations or mechanical adjustments are carried-out, switch the shear off.
• All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at CAMPAGNOLA Authorised Service Points.
• When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the machine can be started again only if duly authorized by the
service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- work has been completed;
- the machine runs in a trouble-free manner;
- the safety devices are activated;
- no one is working on the machine.

3.1 Product identification

The tool indentification details are indicated on the plate inside the shear body, on
the battery charger (21), on the electronic card box (9) and on the shear case.

3.2 Product description

The electronic battery-powered shear, with a cutting blade (16) in hardened steel, has been designed for pruning vineyards,
orchards, olive groves, citrus trees and ornamental plants.
The cutting power is generated by an electric motor, powered by 2 portable batteries (2), which operates the blades (17) by means
of gears.
The shear is provided with a twin trigger system (13 and 14) for safety reasons, to avoid accidental working

3.3 Parts supplied

• Sharpening stone.

3.4 Recommended use

The shear was created for pruning according to the manners and limits previously described.
WARNING!
Any other use has to be considered improper and potentially dangerous for the operators' safety. This would make any
warranty claims void.
WARNING!
If it is not used for the purposes it was designed for, the shear may cause serious injury to personnel and bystanders and
damage to equipment and things.
