2.5 Maintenance
WARNING!
Before carrying out any maintenance work or mechanical adjustments over the machine, wear a safety helmet, safety
shoes, gloves and glasses, then proceed opening the air tap (12) and discharge the air from the air tank (27) and
remove the PTO shaft (33) from the tractor.
•
Routine maintenance and repairs can be carried out by an operator with the necessary physical and intellectual qualifica-
tions.
•
Special maintenance and repairs can be carried out only by a service mechanic.
•
Keep bystanders away when servicing or repairing the machine.
•
Only service mechanics are authorized to inactivate the safety devices provided on the machine when maintenance is to
be performed. It is their responsibility to safeguard the operators and the machine. The safety devices should be activated
as soon as maintenance work has been completed.
•
All maintenance procedures not dealt with in this manual are to be performed at authorised service points.
•
When maintenance or repairs have been completed, the compressor can be started again only if duly authorized by the
service mechanic. The service mechanic must make sure:
- work has been completed
- the compressor runs in a trouble-free manner
- the safety devices are activated
- no one is working on the compressor.

- SPECIFICATIONS
3.1 Product identification
The details used to identify the compressor are indicated on the nameplate (2).
3.2 Product description
The compressor is used to drive pneumatic equipment for pruning, picking olives and coffee beans and shearing animals. In
addition it can be used to inflate tires, spray paint, blow air and drive other types of pneumatic equipment.
The compressor is driven by a cardan joint (33) (not supplied) which connects the tractor power take-off to the splined shaft (32)
of the compressor.
