Introduction

The Steca Solarix PI 550 and PI 1100 are stand-alone inverters for PV battery
systems. They convert the battery's DC voltage into sinusoidal AC voltage. This
makes it possible to use any normal AC appliances that are in a suitable perform-
ance class. These include, for example, tools, consumer electronics, household
appliances, lamps, pumps and motors, which can be used in the same way as
with normal mains power.
