COMBUSTION AIR ADJUSTMENT EM 16/2-E EM 26/2-E
The air shutter is operated by a gearmotor. To adjust the closed/open and
first stage/max. aperture positions act on the cams by turning them anti-
clockwise to increase the air shutter opening and clockwise to decrease the
air shutter opening.
Blue cam Total closing position
Orange cam First stage start adjustment
Red cam Second stage start adjustment
Black cam Second stage VE2 opening go-ahead
GAS VALVE ADJUSTMENT
The maximum delivery and the start up delivery must be set.
MAXIMUM DELIVERY ADJUSTMENT
- Assemble a gauge to measure the gas pressure at the burner head.
- Open the gas valve to the maximum.
- While the burner is working, act on the stabilizer until the required delive-
ry is reached (read the meter): read the pressure value on the gauge.
- Act on the valve adjustment by turning the valve towards off until the
pressure on the gauge just hints at decreasing. At this point the maxi-
mum delivery required is set and controlled by both the stabilizer and the
gas valve.

To adjust the 1st/2nd stage delivery loosen screw 1. Turning 4 and 5 anti-
clockwise increases the delivery. Turning clockwise reduces the delivery.
Once you have carried out the necessary adjustment re-tighten screw 1.
To adjust the initial fast-start mechanism remove the cover 3 and, using the
rear of the cover as a tool, rotate the pin.
