Turning on the appliance
6. When the water temperature in the tank reaches 185°F, the
process of brewing coffee will begin. When the coffee is ready,the
appliance will automatically enter the mode of heating thedrink. In
this case, the boiling indicator light goes off and the heating
indicator light comes on.
7. When the volume of coffee in the tank is reduced to about 3
cups and the coffee is not visible in the measuring glass,
disconnect the appliance from the supply using the power
switch and disconnect the plug from the outlet. Remove the
infuser from the water tank. Pour out used coffee. Rinse the
tank, infuser, water pipe and lid. The appliance is ready to
prepare the next portion of coffee.
BOILING HOT WATER FOR BREWING HOT DRINKS
Getting boiling hot water for brewing hot drinks is the same as the
process described above (see the section Brewing coffee), but the
coffee basket is not filled with ground coffee.
HOW TO RETURN THE APPLIANCE TO
OPERATING MODE AFTER THE 'DRY' START UP
(WITH NO WATER IN THE TANK)
In case of a "dry" start up, i.e. without water or with insufficient
water in the tank, safety thermostat will automatically turn off the
appliance. To return to the usual operating mode, you must do the
following:
1. Unplug the power cord.
2. Empty the tank (if there is any water) and allow the appliance to
cool to room temperature.
3. Turn the appliance over. There is a small hole on the bottom,
inside which is the reset button. Insert the stick into the hole and
press the reset button until it clicks.
4. The appliance is ready to use.
