FITTING OF THE BASE
(Fig. 4)
1° Loosen the 4 screws delivered with the two bars which will form the base.
2° Place one bar over the other until you obtain a cross.
3° Join the feet to the base (already with the cross form) and tighten it with the 4 screws. Place the
plastic piece to cover the screws.
4° Place the fan (already mounted) onto the feet and tighten it with the fixing screw. The feet of the
base is height adjustable. To select the appropriate height, loosen the fixing screw by turning it coun-
terclockwise. The pull the bar upward until you obtain the desired height and tighten the fixing screw
by turning it clockwise.
OPERATION
The model has a four positions switch (Fig. 3):
0 = Stop
= Low speed
= Medium speed
= High speed
OSCILLATION
The fan has a feature which allows the oscillation of the head from side to side of the basis. To make the
fan oscillate, you must press the oscillating switch. To stop the oscillation, just pull the switch upward
(Fig. 2).
SWINGING OF THE HEAD
The ARTIC-CN fans have a multi-swinging head. To lean it you only have to press over the fan adjusting
it to the desired angle (Fig. 2).
MAINTENANCE
Before beginning any cleaning or maintenance operation on the appliance
unplug it from the mains supply.
The ARTIC-CN fans do not need any special maintenance. To take out the propeller, you must follow
the fitting instructions in reverse order. The propeller can be cleaned using warm water with a small
quantity of a mild detergent. Clean the outside of the fan with a moistened cloth. Do not sink the
fan. Do not use neither abrasive products nor solvents. Before mounting it again, be sure that all the
components are completely dry.
