Overheating Protection
When operated in spotlight mode and spot + floodlight mode,
the spotlight may be overheated due to the high temperature
generated by the LEDs. If overheating occurs, the light will
attempt to cool itself by dimming the light. Turn off the light
and allow approximately 10 minutes of cool-down time before
attempting to resume operation.
As soon as the unit reaches normal operating temperature, it
can be turned on again.
Maintenance
m
WARNING!
Always switch the product off and remove
the battery before performing inspection, maintenance, and
cleaning work.
m
WARNING!
When servicing, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of any other parts could create a
hazard or cause product damage.
General Cleaning Tips
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics
are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial
solvents and may be damaged by their use.
m
WARNING!
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum-based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in

destroy plastic, which could result in serious personal injury.
NOTE: The LEDs cannot be replaced. Any attempt to replace
the LEDs may damage the spotlight.
Storage
Follow these recommendations for storing the spotlight:
• Switch off the unit, remove the battery. Thoroughly clean the
housing.
• Store the spotlight, with the battery and charger indoors in
a safe location out of the reach of children. Keep away from
corrosive agents, such as garden chemicals and de-icing
salt.
Disposal
Recycling the tool
• Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted
municipal waste. Use separate collection facilities.
• Contact your local government agency for information
regarding the collection systems available.
• If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills
or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your
health and well-being.
