P 1: GENERATOR SETTING MODE
PFr: Professional mode of the welding scre-
en. The operator can adjust all parameters of
the welding cycle.
EsY: Easy mode of the welding screen. The
operator can adjust only some parameters,
the other ones are set automatically by the
generator.
P 3: WORKING MODE OF THE
REMOTE CONTROL
When the remote function is active, the LED
L1 lights.
An: The arcing occurs by pressing the pedal.
The welding current is adjusted through the
analog input of the torch trigger connector [0-
>10V = 5->Iweld]
dI: the welding current is adjusted through
two buttons connected to the torch trigger
connector.
LSt: by pressing the buttons it is possible to
scroll and charge the first 20 saved operator

WELDING WITH COATED
ELECTRODES (MMA)
• Connect the ground lead to the negative
(-) socket of the generator (pos. 4) and the
ground clamp to the piece which is to be wel-
ded.
• Connect the welding cable to the positive
(+) socket of the generator (pos. 5) and cor-
rectly fix the coated electrode (filler material)
on the electrode holder.
Warning: Respect the positive or nega-
tive polarity (DC+, DC-) marked on the
packaging of the electrodes.
• While holding the electrode holder, sup-
ply the generator with power by pressing the
start/stop (ON/OFF) button on the rear panel
(pos. A) of the generator. Warning: The wel-
ding machine will suggest the configurations
used in the previous welding
• Use the buttonT2 to select the electrode
welding procedure (MMA).
• Use the button T4 to select "set" and set
the Hot Start and Arc Force parameters:
• Hs LED L15 on with fixed light – the di-
splay shows "H": rotate the adjustment
knob 2 to adjust the Hot Start value. The
display will show the set value.
• Af LED L16 on with fixed light – The di-
splay shows "A": rotate the adjustment
knob 2 to adjust the Arc Force value. The
display will show the set value.
• Use button T4 to activate or exclude the
VRD function.
IMPORTANT: For further information on
parameter functions and regulation in
MMA welding, please read the paragraph
on "CONTROL PANEL - BUTTONS &
LEDS".
• Wait 5 seconds. The generator will exit the
automatic parameter regulation menu.
• Adjust the welding current using the knob 2
(LED L2 on) or with the remote control knob
if the remote control has been activated with
button T1 (LED L1 on).
• The set current value depends on the ap-
plication of the welding, the type of electrode,
its diameter and on the instructions provided
by the electrode manufacturer (and present on
the packaging of the electrodes themselves).
• The table below contains basic information
regarding the range of currents used for each
diameter of electrode.
