Troubleshooting

5.1

Blind rivet is not set

Cause
Battery switched off because it has been idle
for longer than 21 days
Battery discharged
Jaws (D) dirty or worn
Jaw mechanism loose
Compression spring weakened (F)
Tool does not operate when yellow trigger
button is pressed (red indicator light)
5.2

No spent mandrel disposal

Cause
Wrong nosepiece (A) used
Nosepiece worn (A)
Mandrel jammed in jaws (D)
Inside of steel head sleeve (B) dirty
Spent mandrel container (H) full
Passageway blocked
5.3

Red lamp indicates fault

When pressing the trigger button
Cause
Riveting tool not in front end position
Corrective measures
Place battery in the charger for 2 minutes
(see 3.4)
Charge battery; replace if necessary
Clean and oil sliding surfaces or replace
(see 2.8)
Tighten (see 2.8)
Replace

Corrective measures
Exchange according to table (see 2.6)
