EMEDY
Check CDP mechanism eject area by
removing faceplate and repair as necessary
Repair the mechanism and loading motor (or
driving circuit)
Check CD mechanism motor and switch.
Put in a different disc!
Clean disc to remove dirt or dust as necessary
Put in a different disc!
Put in a different disc!
Have service center repair laser pickup
Check the servo circuit area and repair as
necessary
Connect filter cap (Radio Shack #272-1085)
in-line on B+ near blower motor.
Connect a .1µf – .01µf non-polarized
capacitor across switch contacts
Check mounting angle of source unit (mount
within ±20˚ from horizontal) and repair as
necessary
Check tightness of installation sleeve and back
strap; repair or replace as necessary
Check tightness of mounting screws and repair
or replace as necessary
Check connections and repair wiring as

Check connections, run the RCA cables on a
route away from sources of high current
