Removing the Propeller
•
Tighten the locking pin (coupling) and pull it using two pliers
•
Remove the propeller nut, washer, and spacer (if equipped)
•
Remove the propeller and thrust washer

Propeller Installation
To install the Propeller follow the following procedures:
1. Apply anti-corrosion oil to the propeller shaft
2. Install the spacer (if equipped), thrust washer, and propeller
3. Install the washer and set screw by screwing with the correct torque.
4. Align the propeller bolt with the propeller shaft hole. Insert a new securing pin (cupplate) and
bend the pin tips after installation.
CAUTION
Be sure to install the thrust washer before installing the propeller, otherwise its parts may be
damaged.
Be sure to use a new locking pin to properly fasten the propeller, otherwise the propeller may drop
during engine operation and / or get lost.
TRANSMISSION OIL EXCHANGE
ATTENTION
Make sure the outboard is attached to the transom or a stable prop.
Never stand under the engine while it is lifted, even when the tilt bracket is locked. Severe
accidents can occur if the engine falls and falls.
1. Tilt the outboard so the gear oil drain bolt is as low as possible.
2. Place a suitable container under the gear case.
3. Remove the oil drain plug.
