SECTION 5 TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
5.1 DIFFICULTY ADVANCING THE DELIVERY SYSTEM TO THE INTENDED DEPLOYMENT SITE
Potential Causes
A. The level of angulation of the sheath/
malleable shaft may not be compatible with
the aortic anatomy.
B. During introduction the system does not follow
the path of the guidewire.
Recommended Actions
A.1. Remove the delivery system, check the
degree of angulation of the delivery system
shaft is suitable for the anatomy.
B.1. Feed the guidewire through the other tip
guidewire port. This should minimise the
effect of this issue.
Note: The guidewire does not travel
through the centre of the delivery system.
As a result consideration must be taken of
the appropriate angle when advancing the
system.
B.2. If A1 and B1 do not work then use another
device.
