After forming the delivery system, if any major kinking is evident then localized pressure should be applied to the
kinks to reduce the folding in the sheath and remove any sharp points, as shown in Figure 4.

3. Use of a Guide Wire
The Thoraflex Hybrid™ Delivery system is designed to be used with a guide wire (Figure 5), if required. The tip
contains two side access guide wire ports (Figure 6) that allow the guide wire to be fed through the tip and then
along the outside of the sheath, hence the system can be moved along it into position.
