START-UP AND OPERATION
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Some elements of vessel are supplied transported without installing.
Once the equipment is located in its final location and BEFORE its start-up
you should ensure that all elements have been installed in their own
location.
The pressure regulation valve in skid for emptying the dimple jacket
should be set up to a maximum of 0'5 bar. A greater pressure can
damage the equipment.
9.1 START OF OPERATION
To start the equipment operation, it is necessary to connect it to the electrical
network through the electric switchboard panel (according to plate characteristics)
and turn on the main switch located in control panel.
On starting the reactor, the "voltage drop" alarm will be triggered. You
can reset this alarm via the "ALARM" screen, which you can get to from
the reactor's start screen.
9.2 RECIRCULATION OPERATIONS
The vessel has a recirculation pipe with 4 manually operated arc valves which allow
the vessel's operating mode to be selected according to their position:
Circulation with upper shearing (Fig 6.1)
-
Circulation without upper shearing (Fig 6.2)
-
Circulation with lower shearing (Fig 6.3)
-
Circulation without lower shearing (Fig 6.4)
-
Circulation with discharge shearing (Fig 6.5)
-
Circulation without discharge shearing (Fig 6.6)
-
Circulation with CIP shearing (Fig 6.7)
-
Circulation without CIP shearing (Fig 6.8)
-
In all those operations requiring shearing, make sure the manually
operated valve at the back of the homogeniser is open.
