detergents, solvents, chemical or abrasive products.
We recommend cleaning the entire filtering system
thoroughly every time the filter is changed. For
maintenance, remove the entire filtering system by
following the installation instructions in reverse order.
1) Rinse the body of the filtering system under unfiltered
running drinking water.
Do not use detergents, solvents, chemical or abrasive
products to clean the body of the filtering system. If
necessary, remove the fastening ring (E), the rubber
seal (F) and rinse the stainless steel strainer (G) under
running drinking water
2) Use a small brush to remove any impurities which
may be present in the unfiltered water outlet and flush
everything under a stream of running drinking water.
3) Do not wash the filtering system or the HYDROSMART™
filter in the dishwasher.
REPLACING ANY DAMAGED PARTS
In the event of breakage or damage to the adapters, you
can purchase spare parts at authorised retailers (consult
the list of all the Laica authorised retailers on the website
www.laica.it). Then, dispose of the damaged components
as described in the paragraph "DISPOSAL PROCEDURE".

DISPOSAL PROCEDURE
- The HYDROSMART™ filter must be replaced every
900L / 3 months of filtered water and should be
disposed of as non-recyclable dry waste
- The body of the filtering system (connector - device)
should be disposed of in the non-recyclable dry waste,
only if broken.
WARRANTY
This equipment is covered by a 2-year warranty starting
from the purchase date, which has to be proven by
means of the stamp or signature of the dealer and by
the fiscal payment receipt that shall be kept enclosed to
this document. This warranty period complies with the
laws in force and applies only in case the consumer is
an individual. Laica products are designed for domestic
use only; therefore, their use for commercial purposes
is forbidden. The warranty covers only production
defects and does not apply, if the damage is caused by
accidental events, misuse, negligence or improper use
of the product. Use the supplied accessories only; the
use of other accessories invalidate the warranty cover.
Do not open the equipment for any reason whatsoever;
the opening or the tampering of the equipment, definitely
invalidate the warranty. Warranty does not apply to parts
subject to tear and wear along the use, as well as to
batteries, when they are included. Warranty decays after
2 years from the purchase date. In this case, technical
service interventions will be carried out against payment.
Information on technical service interventions, under
warranty terms or against payment, may be requested
by writing at info@laica.com. Repair or replacement
of products covered by the warranty terms are free
of charge. In case of faults, refer to the dealer; DO
NOT send anything directly to LAICA. All interventions
covered by warranty (including product replacement or
the replacement of any of its parts) shall not be meant
to extend the duration of the original warranty period of
the replaced product. The manufacturer cannot be made
liable for any damages that may be caused, directly or
indirectly, to people, things and pets resulting from the
inobservance of the provisions contained in the suitable
user manual, especially with reference to the instructions
related to installation, use and maintenance of the
equipment. Being constantly involved in improving its own
products, Laica reserves the right to modify its product,
totally or partially, with reference to any production need,
without that this involves any responsibility whatsoever
by Laica or its dealers.

ATENCIÓN:
El filtro para grifo Laica es un equipo destinado al
tratamiento de aguas potables. El filtro HYDROSMART™
filtra el agua potable de red mejorando el sabor
y reduciendo algunas sustancias no deseadas
posiblemente presentes. Los filtros HYDROSMART™
Laica están compuestos por carbones activos vegetales
y membranas de fibras huecas. Los carbones activos
en general son eficaces en la reducción del cloro y
derivados. el filtro HYDROSMART™, además, reduce
eficazmente: cloro, microplásticos, herbicidas y
pesticidas clorurados, solventes orgánicos clorurados,
particulado y microdetritus, arena y herrumbre y
partículas en suspensión".
El filtro para grifo LAICA Venezia permite seleccionar 3
diferentes modalidades de suministro del agua:
1) Agua filtrada para tomar.
2) Agua no filtrada con alcachofa de ducha.
3) Agua no filtrada de chorro continuo.
ATENCIÓN:
El filtro HYDROSMART™ Laica filtra agua que EN TODO
CASO DEBE SER POTABLE y microbiológicamente segura
(verificarlo con la autoridad competente de su zona).
Para un uso consciente solicitar mayor información al
gestor de la red hídrica, o bien realizar un test del agua
en salida del grifo de casa.
ADVERTENCIAS GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
• Después de haber sacado el producto de su embalaje
comprobar la integridad y la eventual presencia de
daños causados por el transporte. En caso de dudas no
utilizar el aparato y dirigirse a un vendedor autorizado.
• Seguir las instrucciones de este manual. El uso
inadecuado puede afectar la seguridad del producto
o causar daños al mismo.
• El fabricante no se hace responsable de los daños
derivados de un uso inadecuado o incorrecto.
• En caso de personas que padecen patologías
específicas, alergias o que estén sometidas a dietas
controladas, se aconseja consultar con un médico
antes de usar el sistema filtrador.
• Tener la bolsa de plástico del embalaje lejos del alcance
de los niños: hay peligro de asfixia.
• Utilizar el presente producto solo para la finalidad para
la cual ha sido diseñado, es decir como APARATO PARA
EL TRATAMIENTO DE AGUAS POTABLES. Cualquier otro
uso se considera no conforme y, por tanto, peligroso.
• En caso que se indiquen situaciones de emergencia
por parte de las autoridades competentes, suspender
el uso del sistema de filtrado y ponerse en contacto
con el gestor de la red hídrica para más información.
En el momento en que las autoridades declaran que
el agua del grifo es nuevamente potable y segura,
el sistema filtrador debe ser limpiado como se
indica en el párrafo "MANTENIMIENTO Y CUIDADO"
y El filtro HYDROSMART™ debe ser sustituido
siguiendo las indicaciones del párrafo "USO DEL
SISTEMA FILTRADOR-ACTIVACIÓN DEL FILTRO
HYDROSMART™".
• Tener el producto lejos del alcance de los niños
• Preparación, sustitución del filtro y mantenimiento
deben ser realizados solamente por personas de al
menos 12 años.
• Este producto puede ser utilizado por personas con
capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas,
o por personas inexpertas, solo si previamente han sido
instruidas sobre el uso en condiciones de seguridad
y si se han informado sobre los peligros relacionados
con el producto mismo.
• En caso de avería o mal funcionamiento, póngase en
contacto con un distribuidor autorizado. Es posible
obtener informaciones sobre la asistencia técnica
llenando el respectivo formulario presente en el sitio
https://www.laica.it/ en la sección Faq y Asistencia.
• Trate con cuidado el producto, protéjalo de golpes,
variaciones extremas de temperatura, polvo, luz directa
del sol y fuentes de calor.
• Mantenga el producto alejado de fogones, placas de
cocción calientes, hornos, microondas o materiales
inflamables.
• NO usar este producto para producir agua potable.
• NO utilice el producto como un juguete.
• NO altere ni rompa el sistema filtrador y el filtro por
ningún motivo.
• NO exponga el producto a los agentes atmosféricos
(lluvia, sol, etc).
• NO insertar objetos en las aberturas.
• NO poner el dispositivo en un esterilizador en
funcionamiento.
• NO congelar el dispositivo.
• NO lavar en lavavajillas.
• NO utilice el sistema filtrador con agua previamente
tratada.
• NO filtrar nunca agua caliente. ATENCIÓN:
- el paso de agua con temperatura superior a
50°C a través del sistema filtro puede causar
daños permanentes.
