III. Maintenance and cleaning
The user is responsible for regular maintenance of the pushchair. Due to its intended use (outdoor
use in various weather conditions and on various surfaces), compliance with the following
maintenance conditions is an essential factor for its proper functioning.
1.
Metal parts can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. After cleaning, wipe the
product dry to prevent corrosion.
2.
Clean the frame with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent, removing excess water with a dry
cloth.
3.
The upholstery can be hand-washed with a mild detergent. Do not wash the pushchair
elements in a washing machine nor spin them mechanically or soak for a long time due to the
possible damage to structural elements (stiffeners, reinforcements, fillings). Always check all
symbols on the tags before washing. Do not expose to direct sunlight while drying.
4.
Do not use bleach. Use only mild detergents.
5.
If the product has become wet, wipe metal parts dry and allow the unfolded pushchair to dry
completely in a well-ventilated area to prevent mould.
6.
Do not expose the product to prolonged sunlight as the upholstery and plastic parts may
become discoloured or damaged.
7.
Maintain moving parts using fast evaporating cleaners and lubricants periodically.
8.
Regularly check the position of the seat belts and other adjustable items.
9.
Regularly clean the wheels, brakes and suspension components from sand, salt and other
dirt. Do not use grease in areas where sand can get in.
10.
Avoid contact with salt water (sea water, sea breeze, road salt) to avoid corrosion. If the
pushchair is exposed to salt water, rinse the frame and wheels with clean fresh water as soon
as possible.
11.
Do not make any modifications to the product.
12.
Use only original spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
